Exterior cleaning

Pressure cleaning that refreshes your home's exterior

South Florida humidity, rain and sun leave dirt, algae and mildew on almost everything outdoors. Pressure cleaning is an affordable way to improve your home's exterior and make it look cared for again.

Before and after: dirty, algae-stained concrete walkway cleaned to a bright, uniform finish

Affordable curb appeal

Cleaning can change how a home looks without major work.

Right method per surface

We choose pressure or soft washing based on the surface, not a one-setting approach.

Removes slippery growth

Algae and mildew make walkways and pool decks slick, and cleaning helps remove them.

Good prep for sealing

Clean surfaces are ready for sealing or coating if you want longer-lasting results.

What we clean

Almost any hard exterior surface can be cleaned. The key is knowing which method suits it.

  • Driveways and walkways
  • Patios and pool decks
  • Exterior walls and stucco
  • Fences and gates
  • Entryways, steps and garage aprons

Pressure washing vs. soft washing

High pressure is effective on tough surfaces like concrete, but it can damage others. Stucco, painted walls, wood fences and screens may be harmed if the pressure is too strong. For delicate surfaces, soft washing uses lower pressure combined with appropriate cleaning solutions to lift algae and mildew gently.

We assess each surface during the visit and choose the method that cleans well without causing damage. If you are unsure about a particular surface, ask us.

Why exterior cleaning matters here

Warm, damp weather is ideal for algae, mold and mildew. Shaded walls, north-facing walkways, and pool decks tend to show it first. Salt air near the coast adds its own film of grime.

Regular cleaning keeps surfaces looking better and safer to walk on, and it can make a sale or HOA review less stressful. Sprinkler overspray is another common culprit: mineral-laden water leaves rust-colored stains on walls, driveways and fences, and we can talk about what is realistic to remove.

What to expect on cleaning day

We start by looking over the property for anything that needs extra care: loose caulk, older paint, screens, light fixtures, outlets and delicate plants. Then we work in a logical order so dirty runoff does not land on surfaces we have already cleaned.

Pool decks and walkways often change dramatically, because the grime has built up slowly and you stop noticing it. Many homeowners are surprised by how much brighter the surrounding hardscape looks once the algae and dirt are gone. We will walk the property with you at the end, and you can point out anything you would like us to revisit.

Cleaning, then protecting

Cleaning alone does not stop growth from returning. If you want longer-lasting results, ask about paver and driveway sealing or patio and pool deck coatings. Tile roofs have their own approach, which we cover under roof cleaning. We serve Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and more.

FAQ

Pressure Cleaning FAQs

How much does pressure cleaning cost?

It depends on the size of the area, the surfaces and how heavily soiled they are. We give you a free estimate after seeing the property.

How long does it take?

Most homes are a matter of hours to a day depending on scope, but we will give you a schedule with your estimate.

Do I need to be home or prepare anything?

Move cars, furniture and potted plants from the area. We will confirm access to outdoor water and anything else at the estimate.

Will pressure cleaning damage my surfaces?

Used correctly, no. That is why we choose between pressure and soft washing for each surface, especially stucco, paint, wood and other delicate materials.

How often should I have it done?

It depends on shade, sprinklers, and how fast growth returns. We will suggest a sensible schedule based on what we see.

Do you offer a warranty?

We will explain what we stand behind in writing during your estimate.

Do I need a permit or HOA approval?

Cleaning generally does not need a permit. Some communities have rules about water use or notice, so check yours or contact us.
