Cleaner, brighter look

Refresh concrete instead of replacing it

Many South Florida patios and pool decks are poured concrete that has seen years of sun, rain, pool chemicals and foot traffic. Stains, fading and rough patches build up. Coating the surface is often a practical way to renew it without demolition.

Finishes range from solid colors to textured, stone-look styles. Ask to see samples at the estimate so you can judge them in your own sunlight, next to your home and pool.

Sun, water and slip resistance

Outdoor coatings face conditions that garage floors do not. Direct sun and heat can affect some coatings over time. For example, certain epoxies can turn amber outdoors under UV exposure. Pool decks also get wet constantly and are walked on barefoot.

That is why we do not use a one-size-fits-all approach outdoors. After we look at how much sun, shade and water your area gets, we will recommend a system suited to sun and water exposure, and we will talk about texture and slip-resistance options for wet areas.

  • Textured finishes for added grip
  • Lighter colors that can feel more comfortable underfoot in the sun
  • Stone-look styles that blend with pavers and landscaping

Preparation comes first

Good results start with the surface. We clean the concrete thoroughly, treat or repair cracks and damaged areas, and prepare the surface so the coating can bond. If your deck needs pressure cleaning first, we can handle that as part of the preparation.

Moisture, drainage and salt air near the coast can all affect outdoor concrete, so we look at those during the estimate. If you have pavers rather than poured concrete, paver and driveway sealing may be the better fit. We will tell you honestly which service makes sense. We work in Delray Beach, Deerfield Beach and throughout South Florida.
